Small model Tortue watch in 18k yellow gold. Dial and case in cloisonné enamel with dragon motif. Cartier caliber 430 MC hand-wound workshop-crafted mechanical movement, 18 jewels. Dark grey toile strap with adjustable folding buckle.
AUTHENTICATION: Cartier Tortue was personally designed by Louis Cartier and developed in 1912. The tortoise-inspired case design stood out from the predominantly round cases of the competition at the time and has become an iconic classic for the brand. This is a very unique looking watch and is a limited edition and feature intricately cloisonne enameled dial and case. The watch is limited to only 20 pieces produced, which makes it extremely rare.
